These terms describe the present, limited status of the project. They do not announce public availability, subscriptions, or a commercial launch.
Project status
Journal AI Companion, including the current Journal Sync Writer utility, is a private prototype under active development. Access, testing, and functionality may be limited, changed, paused, or discontinued as the design evolves.
No public service or purchase
The project is not currently presented as a publicly available paid service. These terms do not create a subscription, purchase agreement, customer relationship, or promise of future availability.
Prototype use
Any authorized prototype use should be careful and limited. Users remain responsible for maintaining independent backups, reviewing outputs, protecting their devices and accounts, and deciding whether an action is appropriate.
The prototype should not be relied upon as the sole record of important information or as a substitute for professional, legal, financial, medical, or emergency advice.
User-owned content
Users retain responsibility for and control of their own journal content. Authorized use of the prototype does not transfer ownership of that content to InfoGlade. Users should only connect or provide information they have the right to use.
Google authorization
Journal Sync Writer currently uses Google account identity and read-only Google Drive API access for validation and synchronization safety. It does not request Google Drive API permission to create, edit, delete, organize, or manage Drive files. Google authorization may be revoked through the user’s Google Account settings. More detail, including the distinction between the Google OAuth scope and the utility’s deliberately narrower behavior, is available in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and experimental behavior
Because this is developmental software, features and documentation may change, and errors or interruptions may occur. Any prototype access is provided on an as-is, experimental basis to the extent permitted by applicable law, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose.
Responsible use
Users must not attempt to misuse the prototype, bypass access controls, interfere with its operation, access another person’s information without authorization, or use it unlawfully.
